Features

What you can do in Sciencera today, what's coming, and how it all hangs together.

Status badges below are honest. Live means it works in the app right now. Sample data means the page is built and usable, but the entries you see are placeholders. Coming means we've planned and partly designed it, not built it.

Submit a peptide hypothesis — Live

Open the proposal wizard and walk through six steps:

  1. Who you are — name, affiliation, ORCID (optional), connected wallet
  2. Your hypothesis — title, summary, which vertical (human health, vet, agriculture, etc.), what stage the science is at
  3. The science — peptide sequence, mechanism of action, target use case, prior art
  4. Validation — risks you anticipate, how you plan to validate
  5. Milestones — discrete deliverables with target funding amounts
  6. Review — see the full payload and its tamperproof fingerprint before you submit

Your draft is private. Only when you hit Submit does anything become public — and even then, the full body stays in access-controlled storage. The blockchain only records a fingerprint.

Browse and track proposals — Live

Filter the proposal directory by vertical (6 options) and status (submitted, under review, revision, approved, rejected). Search by title or summary text. Open any proposal to see its details, the author's wallet, the cryptographic fingerprint, and the status timeline.

If you authored it, you can resubmit a revision after reviewer feedback. If you're an assigned reviewer, you can move the status forward.

AI Lab — Live

Two assistants, both peptide-aware:

  • Analyze — paste a sequence or upload an image of one. Get back a structured analysis: detected sequence, key properties, likely mechanism. Powered by GPT-4o vision.
  • Generate — describe what you want to visualize ("show me the binding interaction" or "illustrate the structure"). Get back a scientific illustration. Powered by DALL-E 3.

Both have a domain guardrail: requests outside peptide / biotech topics are declined politely. If the AI service is unavailable, a deterministic mock response runs instead — clearly labeled, never silent.

Every response is badged so you know whether you got the live model or the fallback.

Take Academy courses — Live

Four full tracks:

TrackWhat it coversDifficulty
Peptide Science 101Sequences, structure, synthesis, assaysBeginner
DeSci FundamentalsTokens, governance, IP-NFTs, milestonesBeginner
GMP / GLP BasicsQuality systems, documentation, auditIntermediate
Regulatory LandscapeFDA, EMA, BPOM, EPA, USDA by verticalIntermediate

Each track has lessons (with rendered markdown — headings, code, bold, bullets), a quiz with a passing threshold, and issues a credential when you pass. Credentials are bound to your wallet and are non-transferable.

There's also a task bank of bite-sized challenges — quick single-question drills you can attempt one-shot, organized by category and difficulty.

Earn SCI Credits — Live

Pass an Academy track or task and you can claim SCI Credits — Sciencera's pre-launch reward.

Default amounts:

What you didSCI
Pass Peptide Science 1012,500
Pass DeSci Fundamentals2,000
Pass GMP / GLP Basics3,000
Pass Regulatory Landscape3,500
Perfect score bonus on any track+500
Complete an easy task50
Complete a medium task150
Complete a hard task300

Claims are active, not automatic. After passing, you click "Claim X SCI" and the reward records against your wallet with its own tamperproof fingerprint. Each track and each task can be claimed once per wallet.

The reward pool is finite (10,000,000 SCI by default). Claims fail clearly if the pool is drained or if claims are paused — there's no silent failure, no surprises.

Browse labs and CROs — Sample data

Eight detailed lab profiles in the directory, with filters for capability (synthesis, mass-spec, in-vitro, in-vivo, field trial, aquaculture, more), certification (GMP, GLP, ISO 17025, FDA, EMA, BPOM, AAALAC), region (NA, EU, APAC, SEA, LATAM, ANZ), and tier (academic, boutique, mid, enterprise).

Each profile shows reputation, services, turnaround time, sample work, and an "Engage this lab" call to action.

These are placeholder profiles right now. Real lab onboarding — including a verified credential issued on chain — comes when we open the marketplace to live partners.

Browse reviewers — Sample data

Reviewer directory with filters by vertical, specialty, and role (review, assign, admin override). Each reviewer profile shows their verticals, specialties, role flags, current assignments, and active status.

There's also a reviewer application form: submit your verticals, specialties, ORCID, and a short statement to apply.

The reviewer registry, application flow, assignments, and review comments are all built and persist locally. Tying the full flow to the on-chain reviewer registry is part of the next wave.

Build your profile — Live

Per-wallet identity page. You get:

  • A deterministic avatar drawn from your wallet — same wallet, same avatar, every time
  • An editable display name and bio
  • A reputation score based on your activity (proposals submitted, approved, drafts, total activity)
  • A credentials block that fills in as you complete Academy tracks
  • A proposal list filtered to ones you authored

When credentials migrate to chain, what's shown here becomes verifiable beyond your browser. For now, it's a local view of your work.

See your activity — Live

A timeline of everything you've done in Sciencera. Filter by category — proposals, wallet events, AI usage, profile, Academy, rewards, system events, reviewer events. Toggle between "my activity only" and "everything in this browser."

Up to 500 most-recent events are kept. The feed is your audit trail of how you've used the platform.

Read the docs in the app — Live

This very documentation site (docs.sciencera.tech) renders inside the Sciencera app — same look, same feel. It's bundled at build time, so what you read is locked to the version that shipped.

Coming next

These are designed but not yet built. The order roughly matches network maturity:

ModuleWhat it will do
Milestone FundingStablecoin escrow on Solana that releases funds when milestones are reviewer-approved
IP ManagementIP-NFTs (Metaplex DAS), licensing marketplace, project tokens — only after scientific & legal gates pass
Data MarketplaceSearchable peptide database, validated datasets, industry RFPs, API access
Application HubReal-world trials across all six verticals
Distribution NetworkBatch provenance, anti-counterfeit, cold-chain monitoring
Feedback LoopPost-market data flows back into the network with privacy preserved

Each waits for evidence the network is ready for it. Funding before lab validation makes no sense; tokens before usage make less.
