Overview

What Sciencera is

Sciencera is the Open Peptide Translation Network — a place where peptide research moves from idea to real-world product, and where every step of that journey is verifiable.

It is not a funding-only platform. It is not a speculation venue. It is the connective tissue between the people who discover peptides, the labs that test them, the reviewers who evaluate them, the institutions that fund them, and the regulators who eventually decide whether they reach patients, fields, animals, or shelves.

Why this exists

The world doesn't lack peptide ideas. Researchers find promising peptides every year — for medicines, agriculture, animal health, aquaculture, industrial uses, and cosmetics.

What's missing is translation. The path from a promising sequence to a real product is fragmented:

  • Funding decisions happen behind closed doors.
  • Lab work is hard to verify after the fact.
  • IP ownership is unclear.
  • Regulators receive scattered evidence.
  • Data disappears into PDFs no one can find.

Sciencera closes those gaps by making the entire translation path transparent, auditable, and scientifically rigorous — without compromising on the rules that protect patients, farmers, and consumers.

What that looks like in practice

A researcher submits a peptide hypothesis through a structured wizard. The submission is fingerprinted (a tamperproof hash) and recorded on the Solana blockchain. Reviewers — who themselves carry verifiable credentials — assess it. If approved, the project can connect to verified labs, eventually to milestone-based funding, then to IP management, application testing, distribution, and post-market feedback.

Every step leaves a trail anyone can verify. Sensitive data stays private; only the cryptographic fingerprint goes on chain.

Design principles

Translation over trading. The product is a network that moves peptides forward. Tokens only show up where they help coordination — never as the starting point.

Compliance as architecture. Regulatory requirements aren't bolted on; they shape how the system is built. Drafts never touch the blockchain. Sensitive content stays in access-controlled storage. Authority is role-based.

Trust earned in stages. Reputation comes first (non-transferable credentials). Funding receipts come next. Project tokens only after scientific, legal, and compliance gates. A network token only when there's real usage to back it.

One blockchain, end to end. Sciencera runs on Solana. We don't bridge, fork, or pivot. Simple, fast, and consistent.

Built for six different worlds. Peptides translate differently in human health, veterinary, agriculture, aquaculture, industrial use, and cosmetics. Sciencera handles all six natively — different regulators, different rules, same infrastructure.

How Sciencera compares

Other DeSci projects exist. BIO Protocol focuses on community funding and governance. Molecule pioneered IP tokenization. Some projects gather attention around speculation rather than science.

Sciencera occupies a different position: the entire journey, end to end, across every major peptide application. Discovery to funding, funding to lab, lab to IP, IP to trial, trial to distribution, distribution to feedback — across human, animal, plant, aquatic, industrial, and cosmetic uses.

That scope is what makes Sciencera structurally different.

Where things stand today

  • The app — Live with a landing page, a researcher dashboard, the proposal wizard, an AI assistant for peptide work, a directory of labs, the Academy with four full tracks, a reviewers directory, and your personal profile + activity feed.
  • The blockchain layer — Two programs are written and tested. They're ready to deploy to Solana once we cut over from local-only mode.
  • What's coming — Milestone funding, IP management, application trials, distribution tracking, and the post-market feedback loop. These come in stages as the network matures.
